Fortnite Crew and Passes (Override season)

There are multiple passes. They do not all end on the same day. Buying the wrong one is the most expensive “I thought it was included” mistake of the season.

The clocks (August 27, 2026)

• Override Battle Pass (Chapter 7 Season 4) — launched August 20, runs into late October / November 1. Confirm in-game.
• OG Pass — OG Season 9 ends September 2, 2026, then Season X. Separate cosmetics.
• Music / LEGO / Rocket Racing passes — their own calendars. Crew often bundles the current ones.

Prices: believe the in-game prompt. Thumbnails still argue 800 vs 950 V-Bucks for the BR pass.

When Crew is the clean buy

Buy Crew if you:

• Play BR and OG or Festival/LEGO the same month
• Already wanted the Battle Pass
• Will not forget to cancel

If you only play Reload and pubs and hate the shop, you do not need Crew.

When to buy only the BR pass

You will play Override until November and you do not care about OG Season X. Buy the Override pass. Do not also buy OG levels on September 1 “just in case.”
