Override Weapons and Loadouts

Weapon pages go stale on Tuesdays. This guide is how to pick a loadout in Override, not a frozen DPS table. For live numbers use weapons and loot.

The poster gun: 8-Bit Shotgun

It is an auto shotgun that eats game cartridges and keeps a score. That means:

• You can win room fights you would lose with a slow pump.
• You can also run dry. Save ammo for peeks.
• The scoreboard is information. If someone is farming 8-Bit kills, they are fighting, not hiding.

8-Bit Sprite can force this gun in your first chest. Fun in pubs. Loud in ranked.

A loadout that still works when the pool shifts

Slot	Job	Override note
1	Mid-range tag	AR / DMR. Do not carry two.
2	Close fight	8-Bit or the current pump/tactical, not both unless you dropped heals.
3	Spray / follow-up	SMG, or empty if the shotgun already sprays.
4	Heals	Two shield sources. Constant Heal consoles do not replace minis.
5	Mobility / sniper / Gizmo	Zero Build: mobility. Builds: utility.

Consoles that change gunfights

• Speed Shooter — fire rate + reload. Spray meta. Reset less, pre-aim more.
• Headshot — everyone is a sniper. Fewer peeks.
• Loot Hack — only if you configured the lobby tab.

How to test a new gun without ruining ranked

1. Reload, 5 games, same drop.
2. Creative 1v1 if you play builds.
3. Then ranked.

Do not learn cartridge management in Unreal.
