Fortnite Vehicles and Mobility

Most storm deaths are late decisions, not slow characters. Mobility is how you buy time. It is also how you announce yourself to everyone on a hill.

Vehicles

Use a car / truck / season vehicle when:

• You have a long rotate and no natural cover
• Teammates are split
• You need to cross an open biome once

Leave the vehicle when:

• You are entering a POI you want to loot quietly
• Endgame is stacked — engines are a sound cue
• You would park on a ridge in Zero Build like a neon sign

Boats and rails / grind routes (including Green Hill style loops in Override) are the same rule: great for the rotate, bad as a parking spot.

Handheld mobility

Shockwaves, crash pads, grapplers, launchers — whatever the current pool is — belong in slot 5 for Zero Build. Use them to:

• Enter zone, not to enter a 1v3 for fun
• Disengage after a tag
• Take a hill you already cleared with shots

Do not waste your only crash pad to loot a chest you do not need.

Override speed

Squad Sonic Speed, Infinite Stamina, Sonic Sprite: these replace a vehicle on medium rotates. They do not replace cover. You still die in a field. Overrides, Sprites.
