Chapter 7 Island Guide (Override)
The Chapter 7 island is still Shattered Coast. Season 4 Override is rewriting pieces of it into video-game biomes: Green Hill loops, Tetris blocks, Pac-Man landmarks, and a giant cartridge where the Zero Point used to sit.
This is a drop and rotation guide, not a POI encyclopedia. Named tiles change with hotfixes. Confirm names in-game.

What Override actually added to the ground
- Override Consoles โ fight them like a vault. They ping you. Details: Match Overrides.
- Cheat-code arrows โ hidden at POIs. Color hints Sprite rarity. Do not path a ranked drop around an arrow you have not seen.
- Green Hill / loop geometry โ long, loud, vertical. Great for pubs, bad as a default ranked pin until the contest rate drops.
- Arcade clutter (Tetris / Pac-Man style props) โ extra cover and extra third-party angles. Treat them as landmarks, not loot guarantees.
Sprites are not map pickups the way Season 3 chests were. Sprites.
How to pick a drop on this island
Use the same four questions as the drop spot guide, with Override modifiers:
- Pubs: land a new biome once so you learn the loops and exits.
- Ranked: two pins โ a warm named POI you already clear, plus an unnamed coast / ridge backup when the bus is bad.
- Consoles are not a drop. Loot a gun, then path to a console if it is free.
- Zero Build: skip open loop pipes. You are visible for the entire ride. Zero Build.
Reload uses a smaller slice of the island (or a different tile). Do not copy your BR pin into Reload. Reload.
OG is a different island entirely. OG.
Rotations
- Vehicles still win long biome crosses. Park off the ridge. Vehicles.
- Infinite Stamina / Squad Sonic Speed consoles replace a car for medium rotates. They do not replace cover.
- Storm is still storm. Early rotate beats a late Green Hill screenshot. Storm rotations.
- If Headshot or Speed Shooter is on, play the edge with trees, not the middle of a field.
Ranked week-two rule
By now the new biomes are content magnets. If your win rate dropped after August 20, your drop is probably the problem, not your shotgun. Pick a boring POI for ten games.
